Cool spot with great drinks. Was there on the weekend and it was very busy with only one bartender for some reason so everything took a crazy long time though

Good drinks and ambiance. Not too crowded after work and during happy hour. Note that the sliding doors for the bathrooms require some amount of pull.

Hidden bar in Soho, private vibe and good Old Fashion and Whiskey Smash, I am a big fan of Whiskey ^^

This spot is worth trying. They have large portions for affordable rates. Constantly neat and with excellent character. Would recommend to others.

The Pegu Club Cocktail is the signature/namesake cocktail for a reason. Great upstairs vibe with comfy seats/couches, plenty of bar seating, and a top notch cocktail menu that I can't wait to try more of... Recommend going early or on weeknights when you can snag the cozier seating areas.

Excellent cocktails by experienced bar tenders along with friendly and accommodating service make this one of the best cocktails bars in the city. It certainly deserves the accolades it receives. Try a whiskey smash, pisco punch, or the pegu cocktail and you won't be disappointed.

Came here with a friend who knows the bartender. Delicious cocktails in a low key environment. No wait on a Friday night but can imagine this place getting real busy. Get the poquito picante. Tastes like banh mi with the cilantro and pepper flavors. I was very impressed. Will definitely order again in the future. They also offer a small food menu.Great place for dates and getting with friends.

I like its long and narrow lounge with old fashion and also trendy vibe. Even though mixed with nutmegs, I have to say I enjoyed this Tom & Jerry drink a lot.

Excellent cocktail bar. The Earl Grey Marteani was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had! The bar is cozy and the service was really attentive when I went with a small group of people. The ambiance is sexy and the drinks are strong. I am coming back to NYC later this month and will definitely be returning!

Really like Prohibition and will continue to stop in on occasion. Only reason that I give 4 stars rather than 5 is that there beer is good but not great. Great low key atmosphere with an old school sophisticated swanky drink vibe. Had a few tasty drinks here and they boast a pretty impressive cocktail list. A surprise bonus were their tasty bar treats that range from deviled eggs to calamari. We had the calamari and it was great along with the MarTEAni, the famous Cocktail and a Jamaican Firefly. Cool spot check it out.

Just heard this place was closing-another NYC nightlife icon is lost & it is painful. We want the owner & staff to know how much you will be missed. Can't believe it's been 15 years! You had the best space, best staff, best vibe and best drinks (& orchids)....we celebrated so many milestones and happy times there (navigating the stairs at closing tho...) When all these sad times are behind us--who knows when--perhaps you will be able to recreate the magic in a new space. In the meantime, hopefully you are reading all the reactions to your closure & realize how much you were loved & how unique you were (despite inferior copycats). Best wishes to all of you in the future and thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Came here on a Monday night around 8pm to catch up with some friends! Staff was friendly and attentive. They have a cool, cozy, and casual environment and was a good place to grab drinks and have conversations with people. Their drinks were delicious! I got the gin gin mule and would highly recommend it!

A (not so hidden) gem on Houston! Away from a lot of the tourist madness, the bartenders serve up tasty cocktails (with season options like a delicious egg nog). The vibe is classy yet laid back, and at $10 the cocktails are extremely affordable during happy hour (5-7 pm).

I appreciate that the place is kind of hidden. It’s a gem. They have a great variety of cocktails and amazing ingredients. I had the please of sitting at the bar with a fantastic bartender, Raul. He’s very kind and passionate about the cocktails and he even pushed me out of my comfort zone. I recommend the Pisco Punch, the Earl Grey MarTEAni and the Gin Gin Mule.

Probably one of the top bars in America, and has been voted so. Serious mixology plus the basics. And the simple food there is GREAT. An upscale, classy bar.

Cocktail before a Sunday family style dinner. Good ambience and space for groups. Quick stop but the Earl Grey Infused Gin Martini was made well with simplicity.
